The Secular Buddhist Network is sponsoring a new online meditation group for secular Buddhists and those interested in a secular approach to the dharma.
Each meeting of the group will last about 40 minutes. The group will start with a brief welcome and introduction (2-5 minutes), followed by a 30-minute silent meditation, and close with a short poem, metta meditation or other reading (2-5 minutes).
The online meditation group will meet every Sunday, at 11 am U.S. Eastern Time. If you don’t live in this time zone, please go to https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ to find out what time the meeting is in your time zone. The first meeting will be on Sunday, June 20.
Volunteers are needed to both start and close the meetings. To help our or to learn more about the group, contact Lise at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled and to be sure you are properly connected to the Zoom meeting room, which has been graciously offered by Saskia from the Buddha Foundation in Germany (https://buddhastiftung.org/)
